Mein Altstadt Domizil - Domizil "Sonnenschein"

Domizil Sonnenschein is the newest and, at around 48 m², the largest flat in our slate-clad house "Mein Altstadt Domizil", dating from before 1800. Here, the building's historic half-timbered structure meets a bright, modern design: the old wooden beams stand freely in the room and frame the living area, while the original brick chimney remains visible in places.

The living area invites you to make yourself at home with a large corner sofa – which converts into a sofa bed for two – and a cosy wingback armchair. At the large dining table beneath the pendant lights, you can enjoy breakfast with a view of the old town, or round off the day together after skiing or hiking.

The kitchenette is fully equipped – with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and crockery and cooking utensils for four people. In the separate bedroom, you'll find a king-size double bed (180 × 200 cm). The modern bathroom has a shower with glass doors.

Good to know: bed linen and towels are included, and there is high-speed Wi-Fi and a smart TV in both the bedroom and the living room. Check-in is contactless via an access code. Free parking at the house is available subject to availability, and a lockable bike and ski storage room is available on request. We can provide a cot and high chair on request. Pets are not permitted, and the flat is non-smoking.

Location: Winterberg is around 11.5 km away, about a 15-minute drive. The Skiliftkarussell Winterberg ski area and Bikepark Winterberg can be reached in around 17 minutes, the Kahler Asten in about 18 minutes. Allendorf (Eder) is around 15 minutes away, Frankenberg (Eder) about 18 minutes. A bakery, supermarket and restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away.
